STUDIO POTTERY PAINTING
We all need a space to dream, to create, to inspire and to be inspired.
At The Yard Pottery Painting Co. we provide a family friendly space where all ages and levels are welcome.
Pick from over 50 different pottery pieces and paint away a few hours using a wide variety of coloured glazes. Our prices range from £4 - £40 depending on the size and shape of the piece. We have plenty of inspiration and books around the shop to bring out your inner artist and creativity.
You can print hand or foot prints with any of our non-toxic paints, make an extra special Mother's or Father's Day gift, decorate your own Christmas Bauble or paint yourself a unique Jug. The possibilities are endless.
You can have your pottery piece personalised professionally by our in house artist with names and messages. Or ask us about a commission piece, we can create a unique piece for a special, personal gift for a loved one.
Join us on one of our workshops to learn new techniques and skills, meet new people and try something new.
Once your piece is finished it is then glazed and fired for a professional, food safe, keepsake which can be treasured for years to come.
Your pottery will be ready for collection 1 week after painting, if you are visiting ask us about posting your pottery to you or if you need something a little quicker just ask.
OUR STORY
Our family run paint your own pottery studio is set in an old converted brewery building, situated in the centre of historic Stow-on-the-Wold, in the picturesque Cotswolds.
We offer a friendly space to sit, relax and therapeutically paint pottery. You could make an extra special gift, design yourself a mug, keep little hands occupied, drink a cup of tea, eat a snack or buy a gift or some Neal's Yard Remedies products.

We deliver, you enjoy some painting, we collect, glaze and fire and return your beautiful creations back to your home. Free delivery within a 10 mile radius of Stow-on-the-Wold.

Because looking after our planet is important to us, we are always improving on ways to produce less waste and recycle or up-cycle where possible. We use 100% renewable electricity and we sell certified sustainable and organic Neal's Yard Remedies products.

We aim to offer healthy and child friendly choices from ethical and fair trade suppliers, because we know how important it is to look after each other, our planet and our health ( so we have enough energy to keep up with the kids! )
OUR PARTY ROOM
Paint, Eat & Celebrate
Our party room situated upstairs, seats up to 10 people and is the perfect place to host any celebration. Birthday Parties, Hen & Stag Do's, Baby Showers and many other events.
Prices start from just £14 per head and includes up to two pieces of bisque ware, paints, utensils, guidance, inspiration, glazes & firing.
There is plenty of time to paint, eat, have fun and celebrate, contact us to enquire or book your party today.

PRE-SCHOOLERS STORY TIME & POTTERY PAINTING
Join us for a Fun & Creative Morning with Your Little Ones
We start off the session reading the mornings story book and playing with toys on the carpet, followed by some themed pottery painting and creative time.
Tickets per child painting pottery and are available to book on our website. We have tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks available as well as loo and baby changing facilities. Parents and children are welcome to stay, play, feed and chat for a relaxed and fun time.
Coming Up...
The Tiger Who Came to Tea - Friday 24th January at 11am. We will be printing handprint tigers onto pottery tiles which will be glazed and fired to make a beautiful keepsake that can be treasured for years to come.

Our evening pottery painting has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, perfect for creating some beautiful pottery. Why not get ahead with the Christmas shopping and paint a gift or two?
Tickets are £15 per person, this is redeemable against your final spend on the night. Prices for pottery range from £4 - £40 depending on size, shape and detail of the piece. We have tea's, coffee's, soft drinks and snacks available to buy in the studio. Minimum spend of £15.
MARBLING WORKSHOPS
Fancy Learning How to Marble Your Own Beautiful Pottery?
These workshops will teach you how to use a simple and fun marbling technique on pieces of pottery. Join us for the evening in our relaxed studio and try something new.

We can seat up to 10 persons per table however as per government guidelines there are to be no more then two house holds per group and social distancing rules must be followed.
